Name: Nathan "Nate" Drake
Canon Origin/Series: Unchated
Teaching Position and why it suits them: Ancient Runes. I did have HoM for the hold, but I think this will suit him just as well. In the series he goes through all sorts of ancient ruins and figures out the ways in to places and has books of notes and clues.
Suitability: He's good
Gender: Male
Age: 29
Out of school living location: Wherever the treasure takes him
Blood status: He insists he's from a long line of Purebloods.

Background (AU!Canon; HP):
Pooting. Nathan didn't have a happy childhood, it was a hard one that started off with his Mothers suicide and his father giving up custody. At the age of five he was in Saint Francis Boys Home in Bogota, Colombia and raised by nuns. They taught him Latin like nuns do and told him stories about a great explorer named Sir Francis Drake. If there was a book on Francis Drake, Nathan would read it and try and figure out everything he could. By the age of 11, Nathan got a letter to a wizarding school in South America. Francis Drakes motto was "greatness from small beginnings," and Nate was seeing this as his small beginnings. He went off to a wizarding school and threw himself in to the world as the only way he knew how. Just do it and see what happens. In his studies, he found a History of Magic book that listed Sir Francis Drake as a wizard! Nathan than knew in his heart, that he must be the descendant of Sir Francis Drake; Nathan Drake, Francis Drake. it must be real, right?
One summer in Nate's youth there was a exhibit in Cartagena, Colombia on Sir Francis Drake and there was something on display that he needed to see, and to steal. It was Sir Francis Drakes ring engraved with his personal motto. On this adventure he met a wizard named Victor "Sully" Sullivan, who was also looking to nab something on a job for a Witch he knew. After some pit pocketing, a roof top chase and a near death experience, Sully saved Nate's life and saw that the boy was just like himself. A rascal with a good heart, and a kid could help him score with the ladies. So Sully adopted Nate after he earned the trust of the young boy and taught him all he knew about History, Magic and how to find the hidden things History forgot.
Nathan grew up and became a curse breaker for Gringotts for a while and explored all the ruins and places Ancient Wizards left behind. He still yearned to know more about Francis Drake though, so he quit Gringotts and went his own way and traveled the world. Eventually he came to England and decided the best way was to check out where Sir Francis Drake himself went to school, Hogwarts. He heard that there was an open position for Ancient Ruins and applied. Sure he wasn't used to teaching, but he had a passion for the past and figuring things out. Maybe it was time to inspire a future explorer like the nuns did with him. Dragons.
